The History

Theodore Roosevelt was a rancher, naturalist, author, Rough Rider, governor, vice president, and the 26th president of the United States. He organized and led the Rough Riders during the Spanish-American War, pursued progressive reforms in office, and made conservation a central part of his presidency, protecting more than 230 million acres of public land.

The Legacy

Roosevelt’s story is built around strenuous effort, public responsibility, and the belief that character must direct strength.
